Year 2010

First of all Happy New Year to you all. 2010 had been full of sad and bit of joyful year. The most sad thing was loosing my beloved father. I guess it is the matter of time where we have to adjust our life into it. I am hoping new year will be my fruitful year.

Who is Next

Financial crisis has had put many countries in difficult situation and government has no solution rather bring new but hostile policies to the people. During 2008 the financial turbulence had spread across the globe but Iceland became the first victim where government has to rescue almost all the private banks. IMF rescue package has been working well with Icelandic financial recovery. Then, we saw Greece being rescued by EU, Greece became the second victim of financial crisis. Very recently, Ireland being rescued by IMF and European union. It will be matter of time when IMF, EU etc organization will have to rescue all the nation - we will have to wait and see.

If any case, general people will be the victim and they will have to bear all the non-sense that banks, governments, politic ans and those greedy peopleÅ› mess. When IMF and other bigger organization will run out of money we have to start asking for god "Can You bail out us please".

A Hat Always reminds my father

Dhaka Topi, a very popular hat and also part of Nepalese National Dress, is widely used across the country. My father - a diverse man, a flexibility in different tradition and less conservative who always had a hat in his head - well, as far as I know. He was very proud to wear his hat even in his last moment of his life. I took his most favorite Nepali Hat (Dhaka Topi) after his death as a memory. His well known hat being my one of the great great memory in my house. Which I feel he is still around.

Graduated Again

I decided to do additional master degree last year in research area. Finally, I finished and awarded Master in Reserach (MRes) in Electronic, Electric and Computing Engineering. Despite loss of my father´s sad memory I went to graduation ceromony. It was great to be graduating line-up with mixed feeling. I wish my father was there to witnessed the ceromony but my kids and wife were there to celebrate with me. This one year had been really tedious and very hectic. After all yes I finished. Thank you parents, wife, kids and beloved sisters - you all have been great supporters.

After father died

I have been quite for some time. First due to my father serious illness and second he passed a way. I would like to thank you all of my beloved friends, families and well wishers for the messages.

Residing millions miles away from your parents it is always very difficult when doing many trips in few moths. At the last time of my father, we could do nothing except watching him dying. Cancer is such a disease which you can only watch and be helpless when people are in chronic pain. Well, we did whatever we can and be there from him of his last moment. He is gone now and memory only remains in my head.

There are so many cultural differences between west and Nepal, many of them I still argu and do not thing is right. Well, these are just my opinion. Now, I try not to remember his last moment of his painful time rather remember good time with him. I am now back to Iceland with his all kinds of memories and reunited with my family. I truly hope his soul rest in peace. Well, this is called "life".

Band /Strike and chakka Jam

I made a phone call to my father this morning to check if his checkup has been done this week. But my mother and rest of the family were very frustrated due to Nepal Banda. My father is suffering from lung cancer and been in treatment with Chemotherapy. He has to do blood test and regular check up every now and then. Kathmandu is completely shut down because Maoist wanted to be in government. They have been trying to get someone at home to take the blood sample and it is beyond the scope to reach at my place. There are no transports allowed.

It is very sad indeed. I am only thinking about my father but how about tons of people like my father who needs such care, treatment and regular checkups? It has been very frustrating, disappointing and being helpless although living in capital city. Politicians are only interested in power not public life.

Bye-Bye Asics

Almost eight Years ago I bought a running shoes to do London Marathon and had very difficulties choosing the right brand. Eventually I end up with Asics. I paid 60 pounds at the time which was very expensive at the time. But it was all worth it. I have done several marathons, 10ks, 20ks, jugging, playing bandy and football with this shoes. And yesterday finally I decided to retire this "very special" shoe from my feet. First it is completely damage in everyplace, not helping at all for feet and secondly I hurt my ankle severely due to lack of support grip in the it . I would certainly recommend people to buy "Asics" trainer for indoor and outdoor sports. Thank you “Asics” for your long support, and good bye. Sorry I had to throw you in my trash bin :)
